Alta Vista features Jakob Heinemann on bass (Dave Rempis, Jim Baker), Chet Zenor on guitar (Squirrel Flower, Lucky Cloud), and Andy Danstrom (You Are The Garden) on drums. The project has a unique sort of jazz-meets-ambient-country vibe, playing original music as well as covers of country songs from the 1920's. They put out their first record this past August on the NYC-based Ruination Record Co and are getting some new material ready for a second LP. The record received acclaim from Brooklyn Vegan and was named one of the best recordings of 2023 by Small Albums.
