Alta Vista explores and transforms the music of the American West, unearthing songs from a near century-old book of obscure and mostly unrecorded folk tunes, plus other covers and originals. The trio remains rooted in the timeless themes and emotions found in the music, while adapting it to the contemporary world. Comprised of guitarist Chet Zenor (Lucky Cloud, Max Subar), drummer Andy Danstrom (Knecht), and Jakob Heinemann, on upright bass (Mike Reed, Marvin Tate, Jim Baker). Their debut album is in the post production process, and they look forward to a 2023 release.
